Most banks take approximately 7-14 days to decide on a claim. Many take up to 30 days.
Recoup has up to 30 days for each claim to earn our commission.
Recoup knows if a bank has decided to issue a refund only once the refunds have posted to your account. As a result, we can't give specific status updates beyond general timeframes.
If it's been more than 4 weeks since your most recent claim was filed, generally, it may be that your bank has decided against a refund at this time.
However, we resubmit claims on a regular basis to different bank decision-makers. If we decide to do so in your case, you will receive new automatic emails notifying you of such.
We understand this is not the specific answer you wanted at this time. Rest assured, our algorithms are monitoring your past claim and any future fees to decide the optimal timing to resubmit.
